eProject Team Update Overview

eProject Team Update provides powerful options for Project Managers who want to integrate the collaborative power of eProject with the scheduling engine of Microsoft® Project. Now Project Managers who use Microsoft Project can publish schedule tasks to eProject and give team members the ability to submit task updates back to the Microsoft Project schedule. The Help topics in this section of eProject's online Help will enable you to successfully download and install eProject Team Update and learn how to harness the power of this new feature.

This innovative application runs from within Microsoft® Project and enables you to accomplish the following:

• Create a new eProject project while in Microsoft Project and copy the tasks in Microsoft Project to eProject

• Synchronize eProject task updates to Microsoft Project tasks with optional approval screening

• Mirror task additions and modifications in Microsoft Project to eProject.

• Map Microsoft Project resources to eProject Directory members

• Email notifications for eProject task assignees upon changes to tasks from Microsoft project

• Choose an optional one-way export of select task information from Microsoft Project to eProject

• Select user update preference settings

• Automatically check our server for the newest version of eProject Team Update

• Detect the availability of a new version - when you logon to the eProject server, eProject Directory Update will prompt you to upgrade your current version
